Quote of the day

Hmm.. Looking at my previous post, I wonder if I had been rash when I texted Eugene that night. Well.. Regrets? Not really.. I reckon I should be more clear and honest about not going to the gathering.

Anyway last night was the Singapore Grand Prix. This year we didn’t go to the race. I’m really not into car racing. I was busy watching my MBC Chuseok Special Idol Star Athletics Championships in the room. I did watch the race but just a little here and there. I caught the part where Lotus’s car caught flames and the finishing. Congrats to Alonso.

I was reading the papers and I saw a photo of Mariah Carey performing at the F1 concert. I haven’t seen her in ages and she looked really different right now. What happened?! Yikes!

By the way, I’m feeling really hungry. No breakfast this morning. =|

Cinderella’s Sister vs Personal Taste

Quote of the day

Only in quiet waters do thing mirror themselves undistorted. Only in a quiet mind is adequate perception of the world. – Hans Margolius

I’m anticipating 2 Kdramas, Cinderella’s Sister and Personal Taste. ^^

Cinderella’s Sister

A Melodrama, which will premiere today. Excited but I’ll have to wait for the upload.. I didn’t subscribe to any Korean channel.

A modern-day adaptation of Cinderella with a twist. Eun-jo is a girl who has apathy toward life. After 18 years of single-hood, her mother finally married and they move in with her stepfather and stepsister. Eun-jo doesn’t fit into the new family. Her stepsister Hyo-sun, who is the apple of her stepfather’s eyes and beloved by everyone in the house, even her own mother starts to take a liking to Hyo-sun. Unable to tolerate the situation, Eun-jo sets her mind on getting even with Hyo-sun.

So far I’ve only seen Moon Geun-young and Chun Jung-myung’s acting. From reviews, Seo Woo seemed to be a good actress as well. I wonder about TaecYeon though, so far he’s just a beastly idol, Actor? We’ll see.

I just watched the introductory music video, featuring “It Has To Be You” (너 아니면 안돼) sung by Yesung of Super Junior. I’m already hyped up. I’m a sucker for Melodrama, hope this is worth my tears. Haha..

Personal Taste

A Romance Comedy which will also premiere today.

Jeon-jin passes himself off as gay to become a roommate to his female friend, Kae-in. He is organise and a stickler for cleanliness. He’s known for his stoic poker face, yet he is sensitive towards women feelings. Kae-in is very trusting despite having a history of being easy target for betrayal. Being hurt so much, she always wanted to have gay male friends. Living together, Jeon-jin begins to develop feelings for Kae-in. Meanwhile Kae-in has begun to trust Jeon-jin, not knowing that their relationship was built on that lie.

I like Sohn Ye-jin since watching Summer Scent, I’ve also taken a liking to Lee Min-ho due to Boys Over Flowers of course. I’m excited for this coupling and the story line seemed adorable and fun, I reckoned it will be an enjoyable drama.

A love story

Quote of the day
A mighty pain to love it is,
And ’tis a pain that pain to miss;
But of all pains, the greatest pain
It is to love, but love in vain. – Abraham Cowley

Finished watching Autumn’s Concerto. I loved the story but wasn’t digging the finale. It felt rushed and forced.

I like romance drama with plot about a separation due to misunderstanding or zero option. And as fate has it, the couple meet up years later and resolve the misunderstanding and live happily ever after. Isn’t such difficult love sweet and endearing? Love that went through hard times, won’t you cherish it more? I like to think that love is the destiny of 2 people and it’s everlasting.

There were times that I wonder if I were to experience that kind of love, will I love someone so much that I give him up for his wellbeing or will I give up mid way because it’s too tough?
