The best portion of a good man’s life – his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love. – William Wordsworth
I’ve watched Bolt in 3D yesterday. Though it was a little pricier at $10 but it’s definitely worth every cent. Though the story is somewhat predictable, I strongly think that the creators did a very good job with all the characters, especially the animals. They are all special and unique and really hilarious in their own way. I especially like Rino the Hamster, he is AWESOME!!
I also liked the 3D effects. Unlike traditional 3D flicks which required the paper glasses with blue and red filters, this time the 3D glasses looks cooler, made of bettar materials (plastic?). One thing I didn’t like about the glasses is that it doesn’t fit that well since it’s one size, it’s heavy and it kept slipping down my nose.
Further, 3D flicks which previously caused headaches and nausea, now doesn’t. I have motion sickness, so I’m usually very weary about 3D effects etc but this movie doesn’t give me any problems at all. It’s really cool when the characters felt as if they are right in front of you, it really did feel like you can touch them.
I reckoned, it will be soon that someone produce a horror flick with 3D effects. Boo!! It’s definitely going to be much scarier with those effects. Wow, what if Harry Potter or LOTR come in 3D!! I can already come up with a list of movies that would give viewers a better movie experience if it comes in 3D.
With technology, movie experience is definitely changing for the better.
